where can I park?
We have a shared parking lot behind our building with limited spots. You are allowed to park in any spot labeled “mL Visitor”. If those are full there is street parking as well!

how do i sign up for class
You can sign up on our website, mL app, or in person at the front desk!

how late can i arrive to class?
We allow movers to check into a class up to 30 minutes late. If you do come later than the 30 minute mark you won’t get the class back on your account.

what happens if the teacher cancels class or there is a sub?
You have the option to take from the sub otherwise the class can be transferred back onto your account and can be used for another class.

what happens if a workshop gets canceled?
In the event that a workshop gets canceled or postponed the credit will be loaded back onto your mL account and can be used to purchase another workshop, class, or retail item.

can a friend use my class pack/pre-paid workshop?
No, all classes and workshops are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder.

how early can i register for class?
Movers are allowed to register to class up to a week in advance. Online registration closes an hour before class starts but you are always welcome to come in and register in person at any time.

How Can I book a rental?
You are able to book studio space on our mL app, or you may email studio@themovementlifestyle.com to request studio space!

What kind of levels of classes are offered at the studio?
We offer a variety of classes and levels ranging from beginner, intermediate, advanced and all level classes. Each class will be geared towards it’s designated level, however all are welcome to try any class offered in our space!

How do I teach at mL?

Can I apply to be a workstudy?
Thank you for your interest in joining our workstudy program! We are currently not accepting any more applicants, but please be on the look out on our instagram for any updates on when we will be opening up positions again!

Can I pay with cash?
We are a cashless business so we are unabe to accept cash as a form of payment. We do accept all major credit cards as well as apple pay!

Where is the closest airport?
Hollywood Burbank Airport is located 1 mile north of our studio.

Where is the nearest hotel?
The Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport location is .5mi away, the Quality Inn Burbank Airport is 1.4mi away, and the Ramada by Wyndham Burbank Airport is 1.9mi away.

What bus stops are by the studio?
The following bus lines are within walking distance of the studio: 222, 165, 294, and NohAir

Where can I grab a snack/get food?
North of us half a mile are a handful of restaurants and fast food joints all within walking distance of our studio! South of us you can find a walkable 7/11 as well as a few more food options.

Does mL sell food/drinks?
Yes! We now offer Celsius, Gatoraid, RX Bars, Fig Bars, and water for sale at our front desk.

Does ml have merchandise?
Yes! We have ml tshirts, hoodies, sweatpants, and tote bags for sale in our studio!

Can I purchase merch online?
Not yet, we are working on it :)

Can I bring my pet?
For our clients, only service animals are allowed in our space.

Can my child take class?
All of our classes are geared towards adults and for a variety of levels. There is a potential for adult content to be involved in the choreography or in the music, however all are welcome in each of our classes provided they are of the appropriate level.

Does ml offer online classes?
No, we do not at the moment offer online classes to take.

Can i host my own private class in one of the studios?
No, you are not allowed to host your own class by renting one of our studios out.

Are there kid classes?
Not yet, but coming soon!

I'd like to host my show/event at ml! How do I reserve the space?
We’d love to host your show or event! Please email studio@themovementlifestyle.com and we can help you out!

Is any food/drink allowed in the studio?
No, our studios are a water only zone. All food, lunches, snacks, energy drinks, coffee and liquids other than water must be left outside the studio.

I can't make class anymore, can I sell my class to another mover?
No, all classes are final sale and non-transferable to any mover.

It's my first time and I've never danced before. What class should I take?
Welcome to mL! We’re excited to be a part of your new dance journey! We offer a variety of intro and beginner friendly classes here throughout every day and every week that we recommend you try out!
